It's Friday the 13th, so today is a fitting time to hear more about horror games. Even better for FNAF fans, a brand new title in that series was unveiled today. Developed by Illumix, Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, a title that takes advantage of augmented reality technology to bring the series' characters into the real world, is coming to iOS and Android. Series creator Scott Cawthon actually teased this game in a post back in August, but today Illumix is actually detailing what Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery entails. The augmented reality game does not rely on geolocation like Pokemon Go or Minecraft Earth, a stance explained by Illumix CEO and Co-Founder Kirin Sinha. 'Augmented Reality offers new ways for players to interact and engage with their favorite franchises by blending real-world environments, fictional characters, and innovative gameplay.
